Kousa Dogwood is available for seed propagation. It needs to wait for about three months to sprout. Tillering can be taken from the base of Kousa Dogwood in spring and winter every year, and then the tillering can be propagated in the cool and dry place. The tillering can be inserted into the suitable soil and the tillering wound with a carbendazim agent, and then the tillering can be transplanted into the potted soil, waiting for new roots to grow.
Kousa Dogwood usually can also be used for the propagation of grafting. First, gather the growth of 10 ~ 15 cm, branches more than two years to choose cornaceae lampstand tree grafting stock, the lower branches can cut a knife, cornaceae lampstand tree in the middle of a 3 cm small mouth, and will be tied up in plastic bags, branches and the stock waiting for 20 days can loosen.
