Peperomia Obtusifolia, a small leaf-viewing plant with heart-shaped, metal-lit leaves, is a recently popular home-grown plant. So how is Peperomia Obtusifolia farmed? Follow us to read the following ~
Optimum propagation time of Peperomia Obtusifolia: Spring and autumn were suitable for plant separation. The blade insertion was between May and June.
Optimal growth soil: peperomia obtusifolia requires loose, fertile and well-drained soil, which can be mixed with river sand, mud fabric and rotted leaf soil.
Growth humidity requirements: Peperomia obtusifolia likes a humid climate environment, and requires the relative air temperature of the growth environment to be within 60 ~ 75 {bf}.
Optimal growth temperature: Peperomia Obtusifolia's optimal growth temperature is 18℃ ~ 30℃. To avoid cold and frost, the overwintering temperature should be kept above 10℃. In winter, when the temperature drops below 4℃, it will enter the dormancy state.
Optimum growth illumination: Peperomia Obtusifolia should avoid direct sunlight and should be grown in the semi-shade.
Peperomia Obtusifolia requires a lot of fertilizer and water, but is most afraid of indiscriminate fertilization, concentrated fertilizer application and partial application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. It requires to follow the fertilization (water) principle of "frequent application of light fertilizer, less amount and more times, and complete nutrition" :
Three seasons: spring, summer, autumn these three seasons are Peperomia obtusifolia growth season, water management, in accordance with the "flower", "flower" - water - "flower", "flower", the order of the water cycle (at the very least to ensure that the "flower" twice a week). The interval period is about: outdoor maintenance of 1 ~ 4 days, sunny days or high temperature during every cycle short, rainy day or during the low temperature cycle longer insulation or not watering;2 ~ 6 days for indoor maintenance. Try to schedule watering time in the morning when the temperature is low.In summer, water in the morning or evening, when temperatures are low, and spray the plants often.
Winter: During Peperomia Obtusifolia's dormant period in winter, fertilizer and water control should be done well. The fertilizer and water management should circulate in the sequence of "Bud" -- clear water -- "Bud" -- clear water -- clear water, with an interval of about 7 ~ 10 days. Try to schedule the watering time for sunny noon when the temperature is high.
When the Peperomia Obtusifolia strain is about 10 cm high, it can be appropriately cored to promote lateral branch germination and keep the plant shape plump. If the plant form is already too high, also can carry on pruning, though pruning can make the plant form compact.
To the old basin that uses afresh, we must immerse with potassium permanganate 1000 times liquid half hour above, rinse with clear water next, and the new basin can be used directly. Generally, Peperomia Obtusifolia should be planted in a small pot (9cm plastic pot) first. When planting Peperomia Obtusifolia, appropriate substrate should be placed on the cup bottom pad and then sieve seedlings into the cup. The seedlings can be planted deeper appropriately, preferably slightly above the base of flat plants. Fill the cup to 9 minutes full, gently shake the soil in the basin, and pour the fixed root water into semi-permeable or surface water.
