Aloinopsis Schooneesii is a succulent perennial herb native to southern Africa. Plants are fascicled with fleshy roots, shaded and ventilated in summer, and watered normally if maintained above 10℃ in winter.T o propagate by sowing or dividing plants. It likes cool and dry and sunny environments, afraid of heat, not resistant to waterlogging, more resistant to drought, with the cold season growth, summer high temperature dormancy habits.
Aloinopsis Schooneesii is a small succulent perennial herb. Leaves are 8~10 growing directly from the base, arranged in a loose rosette, leaves fleshy, small, approximately spatulate, apex rounded triangular, leaves blue-green or brownish green, densely covered with dark tongue coating small warts. The flowers are 1~2 cm in diameter, yellow and red with silk-like luster. The culture soil can be mixed with 2 parts of leaf mould and 1 part of vermiculite. Shade and ventilate in summer. In the winter, maintain 10℃ above and normal watering.
Aloinopsis Schooneesii is originally from Cape Province, South Africa. It prefers warm, dry and sunny environments. It is resistant to drought and semi-shade. Its main growth period is in spring and autumn, which can be given sufficient light. If the light is insufficient, the plant will grow in vain, which will make the plant loose, the leaves will become thin and long, and it is difficult to flower. However, plants growing in sunny places have plump fleshy leaves, compact and robust plant shape, and high ornamental value. Water master "do not do not water, water is thoroughly", avoid basin soil water, also avoid rain, especially long-term rain, otherwise it will easily cause rot. Apply once a month thin liquid fertilizer or 'low nitrogen, high phosphorus', potassium compound fertilizer. Fertilizer should not splash on the plant, so as not to cause decay. Fertilizer liquid is not too thick, with light, thin is better. When in the summer high temperature, appropriately put it in a ventilated good place. Do not fertilize, appropriately shade, avoid burning sun insolates, control water, prevent because it sultry, damp and cause plant rot. In winter, the minimum temperature is above 10℃ and there is a certain temperature difference between day and night. Aloinopsis Schooneesii can be watered normally to make the plants continue to grow. If Aloinopsis Schooneesii can not be kept above 10℃, then control watering, keep the soil moderately dry, make the plant dormancy, and can also withstand the low temperature of 3~5℃.
