Summer is a difficult season for plants because of too much typical plant diseases. Gardeners often say that the flowers and plants at home are easy to turn yellow. If your plants have such symptoms, you must prescribe the right solutions in time.
Generally, it is caused by uneven watering. Regardless of whether it is a BBK or five braided fortune tree, each tree has its own root system in the soil. When watering, it was not evenly watered along the roots, but only on the one side of the tree. More water caused death.
The root system of the fortune tree is not developed and does not like too much water. Watering should follow the principle of watering. Once watering, you’d better be sure to water the small water evenly along the roots of the plant, not just to one side.
First of all, compared with woody plants, herb plants have a greater demand for water. Secondly, because most of the plastic pots used to grow flowers have strong bottoms, the bottoms are basically mesh-shaped, which is good for plants to breathe and grow and prevent root rot, but it is not easy to store water. In addition, the weather is relatively hot now, and the transpiration effect is also great, and plants will wilt when they lack water.
When the water shortage of herb plants is severe, the method of immersion watering can be used. You can soak about 1/3 of the bottom of the flowerpot in water for about 10 minutes, then take it out and place it in a ventilated place to avoid strong light exposure.
In summer, the weather gets hot, and the frequency of plants will increase accordingly. After watering, because the plant is located in a poorly ventilated corner, the doors and windows are closed after going out, so too much water can not volatilize. In such a sultry and humid environment for a long time, the leaves will turn black and rot. Excessive moisture in the roots will affect the root respiration and cause root rot.
It is best to water in the morning and evening when the weather is hot. The water temperature is close to the room temperature. After watering, the environment should be kept ventilated, otherwise the roots are easy to rot. If the home maintenance plant is watered in the morning before going out, the doors and windows are closed after watering, and the room is hot and not ventilated. It is easy to rot roots. You can choose to water in the evening; for company maintenance, you can choose to water in the morning to avoid turning off the air conditioner.
Happiness has luxuriant branches and high water demand, which is more obvious in summer when the temperature is high. Especially in a well-lit and well-ventilated location, at this time in the peak season of the happiness tree, insufficient water supply is manifested in the leaves, which are wilted, curled, and even fall off.
If the happiness tree is in good ventilated and light conditions, water more often, and each tree must be watered along the roots of the plant every time. Watering thoroughly until the soil fully absorbs water. For water-loving happy trees, you should keep the pot soil slightly moist in summer, and water them immediately when the leaves are curled or drooping. The leaves can also be sprayed frequently.
In summer, the temperature is too high, and the plants that have just been bought home cannot quickly adapt to the new environment, and the ventilation is not very good, resulting in soft leaves at the bottom of the succulents.
Succulents are relatively more drought-tolerant. Watering must be controlled. You’d better not water too much, and it is easy to grow too much. The freshly bought can be maintained in a ventilated place with diffused light at home, and do not water on the leaves. When you have adapted to the new environment, you can slowly put it in a place with a little stronger light. After all, fleshy is light-loving, and more sun is healthier. You should pay attention to sun protection when the temperature is high.
