Pedicels are 1-5 cm long, usually no longer than leaves, coat as stem, many with brown sessile glands. Calyx is (4) 5 -- 7 (10) mm long, divided nearly to base, lobes lanceolate, elliptic lanceolate to slightly enlarged and subspatulate or upper, apex acute or slightly obtuse, glabrous, pilose or margin ciliate only. Corolla is yellow, 7-15 mm long, basal connate part 2-4 mm long, lobes narrowly ovate to sublanceolata, apex acute or obtuse, slightly thickened, with long black glandular bands;Filaments 6-8 mm long, lower half connate into tube;Anthers ovoid, 1-1.5 mm long. Pollen grains are with 3-pore sulcus, subglobose [(29.5-32) × (27-31) micron], reticulated surface ornamentation. The ovary is oval-shaped, style 6-8 mm long. Capsule is globose, 4-5 mm in diam., glabrous, with sparse black glandular bands. Flowering period is from May to July and fruiting July to October.
